Classical Partners continues to feature strongly in the media. On Valentines Day last year we were featured on BBC Radio 3's popular Sunday Morning programme Music Matters and in July of that year we were the subject of Shop Talk on BBC Radio 4.
A Personal Story From The Mail On Sunday...
In your 20's your'e in a singles situation. In your 40's, it's not so easy. All my friends were married or in permanent relationships, and I certainly couldn't walk into a bar and introduce myself to a man. Music is an important part of my life so I wanted to find somebody who feels the same way.
There was something about Jocelyn's details that interested me, although it's difficult to say what. He had a warm voice on the phone and I immediately wanted to meet him. When I did we started talking and didn't stop. The next time we met, I knew we had something special. I felt very close to him, quite different from how I felt with any other person. I'd have felt attracted to him if we'd met socially, but whether I would have had the courage to go up to him, I don't know - he might have been married
I don't regard myself as a failure for going to an agency. It takes guts, so I consider it a brave decision, a positive move. It doesn't take the romance out of it. How you react to one another is the romance, no matter how you meet.
