Classical Partners continues to feature strongly in the media. On Valentines Day last year we were featured on BBC Radio 3's popular Sunday Morning programme Music Matters and in July of that year we were the subject of Shop Talk on BBC Radio 4.

A Personal Story From The Mail On Sunday...

In your 20's your'e in a singles situation. In your 40's, it's not so easy. All my friends were married or in permanent relationships, and I certainly couldn't walk into a bar and introduce myself to a man. Music is an important part of my life so I wanted to find somebody who feels the same way.

There was something about Jocelyn's details that interested me, although it's difficult to say what. He had a warm voice on the phone and I immediately wanted to meet him. When I did we started talking and didn't stop. The next time we met, I knew we had something special. I felt very close to him, quite different from how I felt with any other person. I'd have felt attracted to him if we'd met socially, but whether I would have had the courage to go up to him, I don't know - he might have been married

I don't regard myself as a failure for going to an agency. It takes guts, so I consider it a brave decision, a positive move. It doesn't take the romance out of it. How you react to one another is the romance, no matter how you meet.

Jocelyn and Sarah were married a year later

“It’s been just under 8 weeks since U and I first met and we both wanted to let you know that it’s been the most incredible time for us and that we’re both very happy.  But without you we would never have met and for that we owe you an enormous debt of gratitude.  Thank you from both of us”.      R. Oct 2009

“The Soiree was a great success, we all gelled really well and the singing was great fun.”     A. Sept 2009

“I really enjoyed the Wigmore Hall event.  First time I’d been there.  Being a new girl, I was naturally apprehensive, but I was amazed to find everyone so friendly”       F. June 2009

“L and I are getting on very well which is brilliant and thank you so much for introducing us.  This is an experience that I have not had for a very long time – a man who cares about me.  The whole experience of meeting people through your agency has been a really enjoyable and positive one.”      L. May 2009

“I am writing to say how much I enjoyed the weekend.  The hotel and food were very good and I had a super group at my table who were great fun.  The walk was excellent and we were so lucky with the weather.  It is lovely that J and G hit it off and are going to meet in London.”       J. April 2009

“This is just to let you know that E and I are now engaged to be married, and we are looking forward to our wedding in June.  I’m very grateful that you rang Elisabeth in the spring of last year to suggest that she might wish to attend the walking weekend in Sussex!”       A. January 2009
